 Gem Information

Lepidolite is found naturally in a variety of colors, mainly pink, purple, and red, but also gray and, rarely, yellow and colorless. Instead, it is trace amounts of manganese that cause the pink, purple, and red colors. It is associated with other lithium-bearing minerals like spodumene in pegmatite bodies. Lepidolite relieves exhaustion and aids in the relief of tension and related disorders. It can relieve allergies and greatly help with epilepsy and Alzheimers. It numbs sciatica and neuralgia, and overcomes joint problems. Lepidolite stabilises mood swings and is excellent for the menopause.

Rhodochrosite is a manganese carbonate mineral with chemical composition MnCO₃. In its pure form, it is typically a rose-red color, but impure specimens can be shades of pink to pale brown. Rhodochrosite is a stone that integrates physical and spiritual energies, stimulating love and passion while energising the soul. Rhodochrosite opens the heart, lifting depression and encouraging a positive and cheerful outlook. It improves self worth and soothes emotional stress.

Care & Guidelines to keep your jewelry intact & glistening

Jewelry is designed to last for many years to come but all precious jewelry will naturally tarnish and look dull if proper care have not been taken. Always protect your jewellery from knocks, scratches, chemicals, sunlight and heat/cold to minimize these effects.

• Remove jewelry when showering or bathing. This is particularly important when on the beach, in the sea and in chlorinated water.

• Avoid wearing jewelry when doing physical work such as housekeeping, gardening or exercise.

• Never expose jewelry to household cleaning products, especially bleach and highly reactive solutions.

• Avoid spraying perfume, hairspray on the gemstones or pearls as it jeopardises the integrity of the material.

• Remove jewellery when applying make-up, creams to avoid the residue getting into the texture or gemstone setting.Any residue dulls the shine of your ring.

• Keep away from extreme temperatures and humidity.
